I am first and foremost a husband and a father. I met my wife Cristy in high school, and this summer, we will celebrate 25 years of marriage. We are blessed with three beautiful children.
Our oldest son, Blake, is a graduate of Plano West Senior High School and will be graduating from Texas A&M University this summer with a degree in computer science.
Our daughter, Emily, is a senior at Plano West Senior High School and wants to study education to become a teacher.
Our youngest son, Will, is a junior at Plano West Senior High School. All three of our children attended Jackson Elementary, Frankford Middle School, Shepton High School, and Plano West Senior High School.
My family moved to Plano in January 1975, where we lived until 1982. I spent my elementary years at Davis before my family moved to East Texas. After graduating from Texas A&M University in 1994, I began my first career as a high school English teacher in Palestine, Texas. I spent four years as a teacher, during which time I completed a master’s degree in English from The University of Texas at Tyler. I completed a JD at St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2001 and began my career at Jackson Walker L.L.P. the same year, which is where I still practice today as a partner with a focus on finance.
